| Zinc pyridine-2-carboxylate is an organic acid salt with the chemical formula Zn(C₆H₄O₂N)₂, or ZnPic for short. It can be prepared by the reaction of pyridine-2-carboxylic acid and zinc sulfate, and the used pyridine-2-carboxylic acid can be obtained by the oxidation reaction of 2-methylpyridine. It can be used as a dietary zinc supplement. |
